Our First Year
2024 was the first year of operations for dVPN News, which was established last January by the Sentinel Growth DAO as a unified, community-driven outlet for longform Sentinel news, technical guides, resources, and announcements.
Since then, over seventy-five articles have been published on this website from more than six contributors; including developers, team members, validators, project archivists, and regular community members looking to make a difference.

These following five individuals and parties were responsible for the bulk of our 2024 content:
The Sentinel Growth DAO is a community-focused arm of the project responsible for expanding the reach and development of Sentinel—including establishing this very site. Its leadership, especially its founder Seventh, uses dVPN News as a platform for official announcements.

Jonnie Smith is a pseudonymous dVPN writer responsible for most of our "big picture" political, legal, and current affairs articles. In the past year he has published seventeen articles on this platform covering a vast a range of topics which have included everything from European data laws and Google's product graveyard to Sentinel network statistics.
Trinity Stake is a project contributor and validator responsible for Sentinel's robust documentation website; and also the main admin of Sentinel's Italian community. On dVPN News he writes about various DAO initiatives and the activities of the Sentinel community; in addition to supporting other contributors with his online resources and knowledgebases.

Foxinodes is a developer and validator responsible for utilities like the dVPN Node Manager script and Casanode suite. On dVPN News, he publishes technical guides and walkthroughs for his products and other facets of Sentinel.
